KFI is my financial management consultancy. My name is Steve Hollinshead, I am 59 years old, hold a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the university of St. Andrews and am a fellow of the institute of chartered accountants in England and Wales.
I qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in the 1980’s before leaving as a senior manager in 1998. Since then I’ve been Finance Director or CFO for a variety of privately and publicly owned companies, from start-up to international groups with worldwide sales in the hundreds of millions.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with, and live alongside, a wide variety of people and experience first-hand how business gets done on all the world’s continents. I’ve sat at the board room table with several successful entrepreneurs and talented professional managers, not just in the UK. My career has taken me to all points of the compass, and I haven’t stopped learning in all those years.
My passion is helping people solve problems and bring about lasting change. Adopting a style that balances creativity with structure.
There are hundreds of consultants, coaches, mentors, part-time CFOs and interim finance directors with essentially the same offering to the business community as KFI. We are all individuals offering a service, the delivery of which is reliant on trust and integrity as well as experience, competence and knowledge. These are very personal qualities that can only be gauged face-to-face.
That I have, during my career, done all the service lines KFI is offering should be the very minimum expected by any potential client. Beyond that, potential clients must be content there is a good fit on a personal level so that the necessary trust builds quickly.
If you think KFI might be the way to obtain the help you are seeking, let’s meet and figure out whether there is a good enough fit. I want KFI’s clients to value the quality of the relationship, not the hours set down on an invoice.
